About The Drive Medical Blue Streak Wheelchair with Flip Back Desk Arms

Blue Streak Wheelchairs are powder-coated with a distinguished blue that will set your chair apart. A strong cross brace in black is situated between the large easy-grip composite wheels for extra durability and ruggedness. The 250 lb. capacity wheelchair features durable nylon upholstery that wipes clean easily.

There are 4 models of this chair; 2 seat widths - both 18 inches and 20 inches for added comfort - and 2 types of foot rests. The swing-away foot rests come equipped with a calf strap to support the legs. These foot rests also flip up to ease entry into, and exit out of, the chair. The elevated leg rests are equipped with a calf pad, and also swing away for easy access in and out of the chair.

The Blue Streak Wheelchair offers users affordable, accessible, independent mobility. The comfortable flip back, padded desk arms make it easier to sit at a desk or table, and self-transfer in and out of the chair without having to hold onto a secondary arm. The solid rubber tires are mounted on composite wheels for durability and low maintenance, and give the user a smooth, stable ride. And when at rest, an accessible lever securely locks the wheels. Both the foot and arm rests can be completely removed without the use of tools. By simply lifting up the seat, the chair folds together for hassle-free transport in a vehicle, or storage when not in use.

Durable Frame
Featuring an attractive, blue powder coated frame with a black cross brace for extra support, the Blue Streak supports users weighing up to 250 lbs.

Breathable and Cleanable Seat
The breathable and easy to clean nylon seat is durable and lightweight.

4 Models Available
Choose from a models with Swing-Away Foot Rests or models with Swing-Away Elevating Leg Rests. Both versions are available in two different seat widths of 18" or 20" for added comfort.

2 Types of Footrests
The Swing away foot rest model comes equipped with a calf strap to support the legs. These footrest also flip up to ease entry into and exit out of the chair. The elevated leg rests are also equipped with a calf pad and swing away for easy access into and out of the chair.

Flip-Back Padded Desk Arms
This feature makes it easier to sit at a desk or a table and self transfer in and out of the chair without having to hold onto a secondary arm.

Solid Rubber Tires
Mounted on composite wheels for durability and low maintenance, these tires give the user a smooth, stable ride.

Wheel Lock Lever
When at rest, an accessible lever securely locks the wheels for safety.

Hassle-Free Storage and Transportation
The footrest can be completely removed without the use of tools. By simply lifting up the seat, the chair folds together for hassle-free transport in a vehicle or storage when not in use.
